Keep your wadding offcuts for smaller projects like wall hangings or cot quilts.
Join them together to make a piece for larger projects.
Very small pieces of wadding can be saved and used for stuffing dolls and toys, to give them that antique traditional effect.

As an all over effect, meandering creates texture without detracting from the quilt top. The boarder was treated with a meander including the hearts to tie the quilt together.
This method or style of quilting can be very effective on quilts that are very busy within them selves. Meandering is also great for those wanting an antique finish to the quilt. As when the quilt is washed for the first time (using warm/cold water) the quilt will shrink slightly giving the quilt that desired aged look.
