Colour Catchers

When washing your quilt, pop in a colour catching sheet to prevent colour runs. You can also use them in your regular wash and it really works?

“So Gentle Colour Catcher” 10 sheets to a packet, available from your supermarket.

Hi Helen

Love the new web site - congratulations and well done to you and your "staff".

Also wanted to let you know I finally got around to using the "Qwash" I got from you. Mia has been unwell lately and unfortunately threw up all over my Autum Leaves quilt. As you know after the last disaster (significant colour running!@#!!)I had when I last changed my detergent I was a bit nervous about changing again. Autumn Leaves has lots of very dark fabrics along side some very light ones (OK white ones!), but I gave it a go. As I prefer to wash my quilts in the washing machine I was a bit sceptical about the size of the bottle and expected to have to use the whole thing for one wash, but I followed the directions and was quite suprised that it foamed up and washed the quilt beautifully, and I still have most of the bottle left. I plan to wash my daughter's 21st quilt next (it hasn't been off the bed since she got it almost 12 months ago!) - she is a bit more receptive to the idea now. We are just waiting for nicer weather.

Thanks for the tip, I agree with your recommendation of the product.

Regards
Linda Ferguson :grin :) :roll
